Sehat — your joint health board

Sehat (Urdu for health) is a gentle, shared view of how the two of you are doing — steps, active energy, sleep, and weight — side by side, with little reactions. It's the screen the app opens on.

It is not a fitness tracker or a competition platform. It's a way to notice and cheer each other on.

What it tracks

Metric Source
Steps Apple Health
Active energy Apple Health
Sleep Apple Health
Weight Apple Health (or entered by hand)

Connecting Apple Health

The first time you open Sehat, iOS asks permission to read your health data. Tap Allow for the metrics you're comfortable sharing. MianBiwi only reads these numbers — it never writes to Health, and only the numbers you choose to share appear to your spouse.

You can change what's shared at any time in the iOS Settings → Health → Data Access screen.

Sharing a day

Each metric has a share toggle. Until you share, your spouse can't see that number — the privacy gate is on by default. Share what you want; keep the rest private.

Reactions

When your spouse shares a day, you can tap an emoji reaction — a clap for a big step count, a heart for a good night's sleep. It's a small, warm way to stay connected without nagging.

Looking back

Use the date navigator at the top — Today / Yesterday / a date — to scroll back through previous days. Each metric shows a little trend arrow comparing it to the day before.

Winners

On steps, energy and sleep, the spouse with the higher number gets a small playful badge for the day. Weight does not show a winner — by design, it's just a number you each track for yourselves.
